Alright, my quick little master bathroom makeover is done! BUT let me just be clear, this room is far from “finished”. I still have plans to replace the linoleum flooring that came with the house with a nice light and bright tile, hopefully sometime in the near future. I’ve kind of been stalling on that project because I’ve never done tile before and I’m nervous, but my plan is to get it knocked out before the end of the year. Additionally, I wouldn’t mind eventually replacing the simple lighting and mirrors in here, and maybe adding some art to the space above the bath towels outside the shower. Of course in my dream bathroom I would take out that whole shower stall/bath tub and make it one HUGE walk-in shower, butttt as I’ve mentioned before this is not our forever home so I’m not sure that is an undertaking we will get to.
However, I’m just glad that I’ve finally painted this room and it now matches with the rest of the house. So, without further ado, here are some pictures of where the bathroom is now…
A little reminder, I went with the paint color Night View by Valspar in an eggshell finish for the main part of the bathroom, and Simply White by Benjamin Moore in eggshell for the water closet. Both mixed at Lowe’s.
You can see in the two pictures below how the new paint color ties into the curtains in the master bedroom…
I’m happy I’m done painting for awhile. Now I’m on the hunt for tile! Any suggestions?
